What's New in Pro 1.7.6

This release gets long-running work out of your way. Importing audio and re-transcribing past meetings used to freeze the app while they ran. Now they run quietly in the background, so you can keep working - browse meetings, or even start a new recording - while they finish.

Background Imports & Re-transcription

Importing audio files and re-transcribing past meetings now run as background jobs instead of locking up the app.

Keep working while jobs run - Browse your meetings or start a new recording while an import or re-transcription finishes in the background.
Full control over every job - Watch each job's progress, and pause, resume, or retry it anytime from the jobs tray.
Recording always comes first - Background jobs pause themselves automatically when you start a recording, so they never get in the way of capturing your meeting.

Import, Right Where You Need It

The Import button now lives in the sidebar, so bringing in an existing recording is always one click away.

Know the Moment an Update Is Ready

A new update indicator in the sidebar tells you as soon as a fresh version of Meetily is available, so you're never on an old build without knowing it.

Stability & Reliability

A range of fixes across recording, transcription, and summaries for a smoother, more dependable experience - including safer cancellation when generating summaries and cleaner behavior when quitting mid-job.

Upgrade

The app will prompt you to update via the in-app update dialog. Click "Update Now!" to install. All existing settings, recordings, and models are preserved.
