What's New in Pro 1.11.1
Meetily Pro 1.11.1, released on October 14, 2026, is a fix release for Built-in AI summaries and recording. Long meetings that used to fail now summarize with Built-in AI, and a failed save no longer puts your recording at risk. Summary templates are now one click away, and your AI assistant sees the speaker names you saved. There are no breaking changes and nothing to migrate. Meetily still records and transcribes on your own Windows or Mac computer, with no bot joining the call.
If you are on Pro 1.11.0, this is a normal in-place update.
Long Meetings Now Summarize With Built-in AI
With Built-in AI, a long meeting could fail to summarize with the error "Failed to add token to batch". The transcript was too long for the model to read in one go.
Meetily now splits a long transcript into parts sooner, before it gets too long for the model, then summarizes each part and combines them into one summary. Short meetings still summarize in a single pass, the same as before.
A long meeting now takes several steps, so it takes longer to summarize. On a laptop, a very long meeting can take half an hour or more. Let it run.
This release also includes summary fixes for the Qwen 3.5 2B model, so its summaries repeat themselves less.
Safer Recordings
While you record, Meetily saves your audio in small pieces and joins them when you stop. Before, if saving one piece failed, the pieces after it could fail too, and the recording could be lost. Now Meetily recovers from a failed save and keeps saving the rest of your recording.
Recording also keeps going when some audio can't be transcribed. Before, a transcription problem could stop your recording. Now the recording continues, and after you stop, Meetily tells you the transcript may have gaps. You can then transcribe the meeting again.
Summary Templates, One Click Away
Summary templates help you get the right kind of summary for each meeting, such as a daily standup, a sales call or a retrospective. They are now easier to reach:
- The new Summary Template button, next to Model Settings on the meeting page.
- Settings > Summary.

Speaker Names in Your AI Assistant, CLI and Exports
When you name the speakers in a meeting, those names now show everywhere you read the transcript:
- Your AI assistant, when it is connected to Meetily (for example Claude, Cursor or Windsurf). See the Meetily MCP server.
- The Meetily command-line tool.
- Exports.
Speakers you have not named show as Host (your microphone) and Guest (everyone else). To see how speaker names are added, read about speaker diarization.
Bug Fixes
- meetilypro:// links on Mac. Links now work when Meetily is closed. The link opens Meetily and then does what it says. Links that open a meeting or start a recording need meetilypro:// links turned on under Settings > Integrations > Advanced. License activation links always work.
- License links during setup. If you click a license link while you set up Meetily, your key is filled in on the license step.
- Claude Desktop on Windows. Claude Desktop installed from the Microsoft Store now shows up in Integrations. Before, Meetily could not find it.
Upgrade
If you use Meetily 1.11.0, the app prompts you to update through the in-app update dialog. Click Update Now! to install. All existing settings, recordings and models are kept.
