What's New in Pro 1.11.2
Meetily Pro 1.11.2, released on October 25, 2026, is a fix release for recording and Whisper transcription. If your microphone or system audio drops out during a meeting, Meetily now tries to restart it on its own and tells you which one had trouble. On Mac, Whisper goes straight to the GPU, a crash when you retranscribe with a Whisper large model is fixed, and Stop shows its progress until your meeting is saved. There are no breaking changes and nothing to migrate. Meetily Pro still records and transcribes on your own Windows or Mac computer, with no bot joining the call.
If you are on Pro 1.11.1, this is a normal in-place update.
Recording Tries to Recover When a Device Drops
Meetily records two sources during a meeting: your microphone, and your computer's system audio, which carries everyone else on the call. If either one drops out, Meetily now tries to restart it on its own.
A short message tells you which one had trouble, the microphone or the system audio. The device may not come back every time, so if you see that message, check the device.
Whisper Transcription Improvements
On Mac, Whisper now sends every part of your meeting straight to the GPU through Metal, Apple's graphics framework. Before, each part first tried Apple's Core ML, using a file that Meetily does not ship. That step always failed, and only then did Whisper use the GPU.
This release also fixes a case where retranscribing a meeting with a Whisper large model (large-v1 to large-v3) quit the app. That fix applies on Mac and Windows.
On Windows, Whisper otherwise works the same as in 1.11.1.
See What Stop Is Doing
After you press Stop, Meetily shows its progress until your meeting is saved.
Stop still waits for the whole transcript to finish before it saves the meeting, the same as in 1.11.1. With a Whisper large model, that can take a minute or more.
Bug Fixes
- Quit warning. If you quit Meetily while a recording is running, the warning now says the last 30 seconds of audio may be lost. Before, it said the recording would be kept.
Upgrade
If you use Meetily Pro 1.11.1, the app prompts you to update through the in-app update dialog. Click Update Now! to install. All existing settings, recordings and models are kept.
