Sales Call Template

Capture client goals, deliverables, commercial terms, and next steps from your discovery, demo, or pricing calls. Built for AE and CS workflows.

Free template. Auto-fill from your meeting with Meetily - runs locally, available for Windows & macOS.

When to use this template

The sales call template covers any external commercial conversation: discovery, demo recap, pricing negotiation, security review, mutual close-plan check-in, and renewal QBRs. The structure forces the rep to write down what the client said they wanted, what was agreed, and what comes next. That artifact is what differentiates a clean handoff to legal, solutions, or CS from a messy one.

Use it for any call where there is an external buyer on the line. Skip it for internal pipeline reviews (use the standard meeting template) or for renewal post-mortems (use the project sync template).

How it differs from siblings

The standard meeting template captures generic action items but does not separate Commercial Terms or Risks. The sales call template makes both first-class sections because misaligned pricing or unflagged risk is what kills deals at the eleventh hour. The Risks & Concerns table is a forcing function: the AE has to write down the client's objections rather than carry them around in their head.

What the AI summary looks like

Meetily fills Meeting Metadata as a single line and the Attendees list with name and role for each speaker it identified. Client Goals is a single paragraph that distinguishes between what the buyer said they want and the success criteria they will be measured on. Agreed Deliverables and Next Steps are filled row-by-row. Commercial Terms is conservative - it only captures what was explicitly said on the call, not inferred pricing.

Frequently asked questions

Account executives, customer success managers, and founders running their own pipeline. The structure fits discovery calls, demo recaps, pricing conversations, and renewal check-ins. CSMs use the same template for QBRs and renewal calls.
Meetily records the call locally on Windows or macOS, transcribes it with Whisper or Parakeet on-device, then runs an LLM over the transcript to fill in Client Goals, Agreed Deliverables, Commercial Terms, Risks, and Next Steps. Audio never leaves your laptop - only the transcript text is sent to the summary model you choose (local Ollama, your own API key, or our Hosted AI).
Yes when you use local or BYOK summary models - the transcript stays on your machine or your own cloud account. If you use Hosted AI, transcript text is sent to Meetily-managed servers for summarization. Recordings and audio never leave the device in any configuration.
Copy the markdown and paste it into Word, Google Docs, Salesforce notes, Notion, or any CRM activity field. The markdown table syntax converts cleanly.
Not yet natively. You can copy the Next Steps table into a CRM activity record. Native Salesforce and HubSpot integrations are on the Pro roadmap.
